Baby Steps To Rock Climbing

<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on"> Traveling might be costly, but with the distance not too far apart and removal of fuel surcharge by <a href="http://www.airasia.com/my/en/home.page" target="_blank">Airasia</a> had keeping me happy. Last Wednesday I booked a flight to Kuching. Choosing flight is an option. You can either took a bus, drive your car or tag along with your cousins or friends that heading back to Kuching. Well I choose flight because it is hassle free and cheap at the same time. hehehe<br /> <br /> Back in Kuching really make myself feel alive, I can do my sports (rock climbing in <a href="https://www.facebook.com/ClimbAsend" target="_blank">Climb Ascend</a>) and swimming. At least that's the things that I can do in Kuching apart from kayaking with Semadang Kayak.<br /> <br /> Climbing had been my passion since my young age. Climb trees and swinging around like monkeys. Really enjoy the moments with my village friends especially when there is nothing you can do at home. At that time there is no entertainment like today, can't even afford Nintendo or Playstation 1, or any other cartridge game at that time. So, we went outside the house, playing football under the hot sun and the game I love the most is hide and seek.<br /> <br /> Playing hide and seek never easy. It needs special skill to remain hidden. FYI, jungle is our playground. So, I usually will hide on top of the trees. Sometimes bitten by the red ants on the rambutan tree. Luckily there is no snakes gliding around. Thank God.<br /> <br /> So here I am again, start to climb once more. Not even a 7 years old boy knows anything about expanding business, profit or loss, corruption, bribery, any evils thought in mind. What the boy care is study and study and when they reach a point of success; in which they thought getting As  in every subjects seems like a miner seeking for gold. What they do not know that as a human they need to play smart as well. You guys might had heard of the terms like book smart, street smart right?<br /> <br /> I am not even like my peers in uni or high school, high achievers, knows how to run fast, had the skill to play football, able to draw anime, good in playing cards and etc. I believe that every human being are given equal opportunity to have other talents that others might not have. There must be someone to be a doctor if not who will cure the sick. There must be a cleaner, to keep dirty toilets and surrounding clean and tidy.<br /> <br /> Having the opportunity to start something new, I feel like I am alive. It is like I am given second chance to live. Imagine like those movies where the near-drown person are given an electrical shock of the defibrillator. I feel that way, just no electrical shock bwahahhaha. :D<br /> <br /> So here I am, given a chance, to be as strong as an oakand to be  firmlike a rock. To be able to create opportunity to myself, to get out from the pit of darkness, to see the shining light. Now I am on the foot on the mountain. Once I had my momentum, who knows one day  I will be at the peak again.</div>

I had nasi lemak with coffee for breakfast while others just grab some roti canai. Don’t really mind about me coz I love heavy breakfast in the morning. After done for breakfast, we headed to the highways.<br /> <br /> Of course, the journey does not end up that smooth. Ash’s  tire was badly “poked” by the road edge concrete.  Fortunately, there was a spare brand new tire. Gunung Dato. This mountain was named after Dato’ Perpatih Nan Sebatang, a legend that compile all the customs of Minangkabau. This mountain was situated at Rembau, Negeri Sembilan with the approximate height of 884 metres. But in our case we took more than 2 hours due to one of our friend had a hard time to climb uphill. Thus we took another 45 minutes extra time. Had some lunch and relax before went downhill around 2:00pm ( Downhill took about (1 hour 30 minutes).We do enjoyed the trip because it makes us healthy.
