Hi guys. Oh yeah! It is Throwback Tuesday. Today I'm going to tell you about my first photo shoot which is called Photo Project 1.0 (a.k.a <b>PP1.0)</b>. I was actually using my first camera at that moment, the Canon 1000D and I am very excited to take a portrait shot. Well, I had no experience in that but my cute friend here, Tantinny willing to help me out. So here are some pictures that I took using only an entry level DSLR. </div>

The shot was taken three years back at the university lakeside. One of the best <span class="GINGER_SOFATWARE_correct" ginger_sofatware_markguid="c9a5c9c8-f696-49f4-8eae-9841a17f5b67" ginger_sofatware_uiphraseguid="13288e3b-0e1e-4f68-a535-88a6de0aac93" grcontextid="thing:0">thing</span> in Montrose, is of course my bed. The place that I will spend the rest of my time here for the next two months. Outside is the town area, if you can see the tree <span class="GINGER_SOFATWARE_correct" ginger_sofatware_markguid="90d10fa1-3747-4024-9706-ed6e91e33723" ginger_sofatware_uiphraseguid="eb22b155-4269-43a7-bb43-8125bcb1beec" grcontextid="have:0">have</span> no flower, since it is almost winter. Personally love <span class="GINGER_SOFATWARE_correct" ginger_sofatware_markguid="d9196420-b1df-4d4e-adad-a4a9e68d3e25" ginger_sofatware_uiphraseguid="74b8b334-10d7-4151-a927-6185932c1f82" grcontextid="sling bag:0">sling bag</span> that I bought in Kuching at the right side of the picture.  My green bottle that I always use. Thank you Mama for the bottle. Company laptop and my gaming mouse as well. </div>

Surprisingly, they only use eco-friendly bulb. If you don't know what it means, try to Google Phillips 5W bulb that it will explain to you. So it is something like using a candle while you're studying. Not a great <span class="GINGER_SOFATWARE_correct" ginger_sofatware_markguid="f342dbec-3abe-484c-8bbe-e194f2b5077b" ginger_sofatware_uiphraseguid="a6a74ba1-5fec-45f3-8d45-37e939b4faa8" grcontextid="bulb:0">bulb</span>, I can tell.<br />

Day #1 To Montrose, Scotland.

It was the night when Azrul and <span class="GINGER_SOFATWARE_correct" ginger_sofatware_markguid="4b4fc6f1-4a66-4c62-9d8e-3357ed625375" ginger_sofatware_uiphraseguid="e3bf9fe0-e9d2-401a-83b2-dc4f8906037d" grcontextid="me:0">me</span> went to KLIA to catch our flight. We took KLM from KLIA to Aberdeen via Amsterdam. The total journey took about 13 hours, exclusive of waiting at Amsterdam Airport <span class="GINGER_SOFATWARE_correct" ginger_sofatware_markguid="5d69d935-40cf-4ba7-a7c4-64c769317b81" ginger_sofatware_uiphraseguid="27371f9a-ec46-419e-94dd-8affb378b4f3" grcontextid="of:0">of</span> 2 hours. </div>

We were welcome by Azrul's friends at Aberdeen; Pali and her wife, Tira. Awesome! <span class="GINGER_SOFATWARE_noSuggestion GINGER_SOFATWARE_correct" ginger_sofatware_markguid="1a21825b-2ff4-4575-a0fb-9d8582312e3f" ginger_sofatware_uiphraseguid="3144aebc-8422-495e-ac9a-8741f4f4b5a6" grcontextid="Azrul:0">Azrul</span> had a lot of friends. Sampai ke Scotland ada saja kawan-kawan dia. We met at Union Square and had some Starbucks. I saw this season drinks, Pumpkin Spice Latte but I haven't tried it yet. I have just ordered Hot Caramel Macchiato although my customize frap drinks is not an option due to cold weather in Aberdeen. We had our SIM card before leaving the Union Square to Pali's friend's house near the city area. </div>

We took Scotrail and it was about 40 minutes journey to Montrose with only <span style="background-color: white; font-family: 'Lucida Grande', 'Lucida Sans Unicode', Arial, san-serif; text-align: -webkit-center;">£12.80. </span><span style="background-color: white; text-align: -webkit-center;"><span style="font-family: Times, Times New Roman, serif;">It was a great journey with beautiful scenery from the seaside. </span></span><br />

Church of St. Mary of the Angels

<span class="GingerNoCheckStart"></span>I was on the way back after buying my Crumpler from Orchard Rd. On the way back to the Kranji MRT station, I've been thinking of Fr. William Lee that was spending his day at St. Mary of the Angels in Bukit Batok. So, I stopped at the Bukit Batok train station and took a bus (number is 852 for the bus in case you want to get there) . In case you feel afraid, please do ask the bus driver to stop at the bus stop near to the Church and notify you.</div>

This bag is called <a href="http://www.crumpler.com/AU/Camera-Bags/Camera-Backpacks/Karachi-Outpost-L.html">Karachi Outpost</a> , a camera laptop backpack. It was comfortable and worth the money. You can put two cameras, a few lenses, a laptop and they even have the compartment for iPad or Mac. The bag also comes with a rain cover to protect your bag from wet conditions. Last but not least, this bag has a warranty for six months from the date of purchase. Pretty much good and value for money.</div>

Another good place to have a drink is at Bratak Mayau, a bar with tribal concept of the Dayaks. Price of the beers is quite cheap, you can get a bucket for only RM40. The rest of the pictures tell the story of how enjoy we are and one of the recommended place to hang out with friends while in Kuching.</div>

Family Dinner at Kim Bay Restaurant

I'm back home after Dubai training. It was a tiring six hours flight from Dubai Int Airport to KLIA. I had a nap at Lido Hotel ( a room about RM90 per night) which was very near to the KL Sentral. The hotel was okay although I personally prefered <a href="http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Hotel_Review-g298570-d3236628-Reviews-My_Hotel_KL_Sentral-Kuala_Lumpur_Wilayah_Persekutuan.html">MyHotel</a> which I think it is more secured and you will have wifi access. To get there, you can let the taxi driver to drive you to the YMCA. I stayed there for a night because it is more convenient for me to go to the airport next morning via KLIA express.</div>

I took an early flight from KL-Kuching at 7.30am by MAS. The flight took me about 2 hours to reach my homeland. My parents and my sister picked me up at the airport and we went for breakfast. I decided to bring family to a restaurant somewhere in Kuching by googling it. I was surprise that there is a lot of place to go to have a family dinner. Discovered some places in <a href="https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&ved=0CCkQFjAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.tripadvisor.com%2FRestaurants-g298309-Kuching_Sarawak.html&ei=Ms1kUvzsA4mO0AX5hYGwCg&usg=AFQjCNG6hV1mafuQkBzkcAZVEtucFOq1mA&sig2=ER8J57VRODPmNhThY48HmQ&bvm=bv.54934254,d.d2k">TripAdvisor</a>. Although I didn't picked the best one, but I guess the best to have a family dinner was somewhere with a lot of choice of food.
