My Beloved Kampung House

Kampung Stass is located 45 minutes from the city centre of Kuching. It was a beautiful Bidayuh settlement village with an estimated population of 10,000 people (nah, just kidding coz I'm not really make the research). If you want to know more, please visit this BLOG for more details. The above picture is my family house, recognizable when you reach the entrance of Kampung Stass. In case you need to have a homestay, my house is a good one to stay. Price is negotiable and you can stay up to how long that you want. Please email me for further details. More activities that can be done in this village such as jungle trekking; there's a small hill nearby, barbeque, futsal, jogging and hanging around with the villagers. The good time to go to Kampung Stass is during mid-year around June. So, in case you had your summer holiday and drop by Kuching, you wouldn't want to miss the chance.

Barbeque and pansuh ( the one in the bambo which is a tradisional Bidayuh food) is one of my favourite. If you can see the brinjals or aka eggplants was smoked-grill which are a another tasty meal of the Bidayuh's.

A guest market at Kampung Serikin, 20 minutes drive from the kampung is also available.
